# Human Foraging Experiment Dataset by Precious Held

This dataset contains both raw and processed data from the human experiment on spatiotemporal learning, conducted between 12 and 16 April 2021. It contains all experimental files which have been used for the data acquisition and analysis for the Bachelor thesis: “Assessing the Use of Recursive Movement Data to Reflect Spatiotemporal Cognitive Abilities: Comparing Spatiotemporal Intelligence of Humans and Chimpanzees”.

Next to the experiment data, data on chimpanzees were incorporated in the analysis for this thesis. This data was acquired by Karline Janmaat and colleagues, and provided by the thesis supervisor. This data is not publicly accessible. For inquiries on the chimpanzee data, please contact dr. Karline Janmaat.

This dataset contains the following folders:
- Methods of Dara Acquisition: here you can find the experimental protocol and methods used that underly the acquired data.

- Processed Data for Analysis: here you can find the final Excel files containing the processed data from the experiment. These files have been used for statistical analysis in R 4.0.4.

- Raw Data Experiment: here you can find the GPS tracks of all trials of the experiment, fieldforms, survey results and tree coordinates.

- Scripts for Statistical Analyses: here you can find the scripts with all commands used for the analyses of the corrected and uncorrected data. These scripts can be loaded into R 4.0.0 or higher.
